The documentary shows the abuse of young girls in the brothels of India and how they are sold and kidnapped from neighboring Nepal to India. The average age of the girls is 13 years, and only 1% of children can escape ever or be rescued. The film shows stories of hope and tells of people who risk their lives to save the children and protect them.

This film examines the American policy on torture and interrogation in general, and specifically the CIA's use of torture and their research into sensory deprivation. It includes arguments opposing the use of torture on political and military opponents, as well as defenses of such methods, attempts by the congress to uphold the standards of the Geneva Convention forbidding torture, and popularization of the use of torture techniques in shows like the TV series '24'.
