Cinema for Peace G20 Screening Series

The Cinema for Peace Foundation was in Hamburg last week screening films about women’s empowerment, climate change, land-grabbing and corruption as part of our G20 Screening Series. Each of our films were screened in strategic locations such as St. Pauli Stadium and the Schanzenkino 73 to bring attention to the heart of these issues in the heart of Hamburg.

Each of our films were screened in strategic locations such as St. Pauli Stadium and the Schanzenkino 73 to bring attention to the heart of these issues in the heart of Hamburg.

Our films were attended by locals, protesters, students from India and a wide array of people concerned with current events. They were also visited by special guests from these films who lead discussions and presented messages of hope addressed to the audience and G20 leaders. These messages and issues were the same ones discussed by G20 Summit leaders such as Trump, Putin and Erdogan with little resolve.
Cinema for Peace screened the following films in Hamburg:
We Will Rise
Pray The Devil Back To Hell
Before the Flood
The Borneo Case
Dead Donkeys Fear No Hyenas / Das Grüne Gold
Blood In The Mobile
